Brenda doesn’t shy away from responsibility — she dives in and takes a leadership role in practically everything she’s involved in, from community services, such as with her church, local food bank, and prenatal clinic, to working to prepare young people to live independently. As a certified facilitator and a public speaker, Brenda shares her wisdom gained from having a beautiful daughter at the age of 15 who is now an entrepreneur and losing her mother just ten years later. She is living her motto: “Life is short, eat the cake, and enjoy the ride.”
